**Job Title: MIG Welder** **Job Description** As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for completing the welding of prefabricated assemblies. You will set up welding machines unassisted for any process or material thickness and operate a variety of fabrication equipment. You will also fabricate and weld complex assemblies from blueprints and read and interpret blueprints accurately. **Responsibilities** + Complete welding of prefabricated assemblies. + Set up welding machines unassisted for any process or material thickness. + Operate a variety of fabrication equipment including plate rollers, saws, pipe rollers, and drill presses. + Fabricate and weld complex assemblies from blueprints. + Read and interpret blueprints accurately. **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of welding experience. + Proficiency in MIG (GMAW) welding. + Proficiency in FCAW (Flux core) welding. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience with stainless steel and fabrication. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to operate fabrication equipment such as plate rollers, saws, pipe rollers, and drill presses. + Experience in fabricating complex assemblies unassisted. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company that prides itself on its excellent work environment, featuring a great weld cell layout and newer equipment. You will be working with newer equipment in a well-organized weld cell layout. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
