You’ll work outdoors in remote locations and for extended periods under all weather conditions, often traversing rugged terrain. You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects and with clients in both the public and private sectors, often working on multiple projects at a time. Your ability to write clearly and professionally is very important. Familiarity with the use of GPS units (Trimble) and tablets (Collector) will be essential. Your keen awareness for workplace safety in remote and urban conditions and within active transportation corridors is expected, as is a willingness to work independently or with limited supervision when conditions are appropriate.
