Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing and Reimbursement Specialist to join our dynamic team in the San Diego area. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting an exciting upcoming project. Your primary responsibilities will include billing and collecting outstanding account balances for various payers, including commercial, government, and managed care.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage billing and collections for assigned accounts, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
Ensure claims are complete and delivery tickets are accurate before submission.
Input data into our systems and manually upload claims as needed.
Follow up with accounts receivable (AR) and payers to confirm receipt of claims.
Investigate and resolve issues for any denied claims.
Required Skills and Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in home care pharmacy billing, preferably with a focus on commercial payers.
Familiarity with HMO, PPO, capitated payers, and Medicaid managed care.
Knowledge of 340B guidelines, factor drug billing, compound drugs, and TPN.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word).
Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience with CPR+ software is a plus.
