Due to our exponential growth, Gateway Medical Solutions is seeking out a new medical biller.
Medical billers confirm patient eligibility, enter data, submit claims to insurance, and make payment arrangements. Must be tech savvy and willing to learn.
Starting pay is $13 with no experience/education, is negotiable based on experience/education.
Experience in billing for Pain Management, Neonatology, or Geriatrics is preferred, but not required. Training will be given.
OFFICE HOURS:
M-F 8:30am-5:00pm, we are flexible with scheduling.
No remote positions are available.
We offer a CPB (Certified Professional Biller) Course taught by two AAPC Certified Instructors (valued at $7,200 by AAPC) in the office for FREE. (Required to take if you do not already have a degree in medical billing.) If you take and pass the national exam after the class, (not required), you will be reimbursed for the cost of the test and receive a raise. Class meets once a week on Fridays at 1:15pm (during business hours) and lasts around 2 hours depending on the curriculum for that day. Class lasts around 8 months.
