Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Location: NYC, NY 10466

Duration: 2 Months

Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day, 5 days per week)

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality mammographic imaging for diagnostic and screening purposes. This role requires skill in operating mammography equipment and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mammography imaging procedures according to established protocols.
• Ensure patient positioning and comfort to obtain optimal images.
• Operate mammography equipment, adhering to safety and radiation protection standards.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports.
• Collaborate with radiology and healthcare teams to support efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• Education and Certifications:
  • Valid NYSDOH license as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Post-primary certification in Mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • BLS certification preferred.

Language Requirements:

• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
