**Job Title:** Maintenance Electrician **Location:** Belvidere, NJ **Pay:** Up to $40/hour _based on experience/interview_ Direct Placement Permanent Position Send updated resume to kimartin@ aerotek.com for **IMMEDIATE** consideration **Job Description** As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing problems and providing extensive troubleshooting. You will repair and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and test motors with associated controls. You will also diagnose protective devices such as breakers, fuses, and overloads, and troubleshoot control relays. Experience with instrumentation or the ability to learn these systems is essential. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose problems and repair VFD's, PLC's, motors with associated controls, protective devices, breakers, fuses, overloads, relays, conduit & cable. + Work with Industrial High Voltage (480v+) systems + Perform maintenance tasks including PM's breakdowns, repairs and rebuilds. + Ensure all lockout-tagout procedures are followed. + Locate equipment problems and discuss potential causes. + Diagnose problems and repair VFD's, PLC's, motors with associated controls. + Repair damages and defects to equipment as per technical instructions. + Perform planned preventive and predictive maintenance tasks within schedule. **Essential Skills** + Industrial Electrical experience with 480v and up systems + Experience with PLCs and VFDs + Experience with automated systems + Troubleshooting and wiring skills + Preventive maintenance and repair skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma or equivalent + 2 plus years of industrial electrical work, preferably in a manufacturing environment + Experience in chemical manufacturing **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Belvidere, NJ. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $70720.00 - $83200.00/yr.
