Lead Security Guard

Directs and controls the workflow and productivity in the Security Department on designated shifts and keeps the Manager informed of deviations from regular schedule. Serves as the first point of contact on designated shifts to respond to complaints related to safety and security. Assists with on-the-job training for Security staff and new hires to ensure they become familiar with the responsibilities of the Security department and Security procedures.

Education/Training/Experience

• Minimum one year of experience in healthcare security (required)
• Experience in Lead/Supervisory position related to Security (preferred)
• High School Graduate/Equivalent preferred
• Current Guard Card required
• Assaultive Behavior Management certification required within 45 days of hire (course must meet AB508 requirements)
• Unrestricted current CA driver license required
