Opening: Junior Architectural Designer / Architectural Job Captain
Office Locations: Kentfield, CA & Napa, CA (Successful Hire will also have the ability to work remotely from home office)
Compensation: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour plus overtime, 401(k), etc.
Thriving Marine County Architectural Design and Planning firm specializing in a diverse range of residential and commercial projects actively seeks Junior Architectural Designer / Architectural Job Captain to come on as an integral addition to our growing firm. The right candidate is interested in taking on responsibilities and roles that push them professionally and creatively.
This successful hire can work out of our Kentfield or Napa, CA office; or work remotely from their home office.
Our firms primary projects include high-end residential homes in Napa, Marin and beyond. Our past work includes commercial projects with Restoration Hardware and Serena & Lily, and a net-zero energy efficient home which adheres to Passive House principles.
Junior Architectural Designer / Architectural Job Captain Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Architecture is preferred but not required (degree can be substituted by equivalent architectural industry work experience)
1+ years of architectural industry work experience is preferred
Previous Architectural Design and Project Coordination experience pertaining to residential projects is preferred.
Good knowledge of architectural design and drafting principles
Must be able to take on a full-time position (required)
Proficient working knowledge of Vectorworks, Sketchup, Photoshop, and Macintosh OS (Preferred)
