Contract Details:
Location: Camden, NJ (Hybrid or Remote)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Jira Optimization Consultant / Administrator to lead the management, configuration, and optimization of the Jira platform across multiple active projects. This role will partner closely with development and testing teams to streamline workflows, enhance visibility, and ensure efficient project tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, administer, and maintain the Jira software environment to align with organizational workflows and best practices.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to design and optimize project boards, issue types, workflows, and dashboards.
Support 4–5 concurrent projects by ensuring Jira effectively enables collaboration, tracking, and reporting.
Partner with testing and development teams to enhance visibility into defects, sprints, and release tracking.
Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards that summarize project progress, issues, and performance metrics.
Set up and manage Jira’s bug tracking and resolution processes to ensure timely issue resolution.
Provide user support and best-practice guidance to maximize adoption and utilization across teams.
Conduct regular audits to identify opportunities for process improvement and workflow optimization.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Jira Administrator or Optimization Consultant , ideally in a multi-project or enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of Jira configurations including workflows, permissions, and custom fields.
Hands-on experience with reporting and dashboard creation within Jira.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently across distributed teams and deliver measurable improvements in Jira efficiency.
