International Tax Manager- Work from home options, but must live within commuting distance to Charleston, SC

We are seeking a highly motivated  International Tax Manager  with 5+ years of public accounting experience  to join our growing team. Report directly to the International Tax Director, this role offers an  immediate opportunity for professional growth and development , with the flexibility to balance work and life.

International Tax Manager Duties:

• Advise clients on a broad range of international tax matters, including planning, research, compliance, mergers & acquisitions, and transfer pricing.
• Review U.S. international information reporting forms.
• Oversee quantitative analysis and projects related to international tax.
• Support new business development, client service expansion, and tax issue identification.
• Manage international tax services for corporate clients, ensuring federal and state tax compliance.
• Stay current with evolving tax laws and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

International Tax Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BA/BS)
• CPA certification (required)
• 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience, with a focus on international tax
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience managing multiple client engagements and teams
• Comprehensive knowledge of tax law, including:
• Inbound and outbound tax structure planning
• Foreign tax credits and worldwide tax minimization strategies
• FIRPTA, tax treaties, and U.S. withholding tax
• Transfer pricing and ASC 740
• International tax compliance
• Proficiency in accounting, tax preparation, and review within the international taxation landscape
