YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Human Resources Business Partner - Crop Science R&D are to:

The incumbent is the strategic HR Business Partner, globally responsible to partner with business leaders in CS R&D Plant Breeding, while also working flexible in other (mainly HR related) work teams. Main outcomes to achieve are the successful development and implementation of organizational and people related strategies to support and enable short-term and long-term business success. The position holder is expected to be a trusted advisor for the business, a steward of the company culture, drive the people enabler's introduction and foster high performing teams within the DSO environment.

  • Own and Lead People Strategy:drive the people strategy as part of the business strategy for dedicated leadership teams within professional homes or Product Teams within Breeding, impacting business outcomes while optimizing productivity, innovation, and employee fulfillment

  • Co-Accountable for Talent & Culture: being co-accountable for talent, leadership, culture and organizational impact on business strategy, you diagnose and analyze the organizational state and co-create and drive the talent, organizational and culture agenda while fostering a diverse, inclusive and highly innovative work environment

  • Organizational Effectiveness:spearhead the delivery of organizational effectiveness / efficiency and change management solutions in line with DSO principles, addressing high-sensitivity topics with strategic importance

  • Strategic Skills Planning: lead strategic skills planning and upskilling initiatives. Secure the right skills, behavior and mindset at any given time in the face of disruption of technology and ever-changing markets, to further develop and maintain a performance and innovation-driven business culture.

  • Coaching and Leadership Development:mentor, consult, coach and enable senior leaders and talents, helping them to unlock their potential and drive significant organizational impact.

  • Regional navigator for LATAM: being the contact person for leaders in LATAM regarding region wide R&D topics, as well as being the contact person to country HR in the region.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong team player who is highly motivated and able to navigate in complex, lean, ambiguous and changing environments leveraging the entire HR Ecosystem to deliver on the business and talent strategy with strong strategic thinking;

  • Broad and deep understanding of customer value and industry/business drivers and trends, including challenges and opportunities, ideally across markets, industries and the value chain;

  • Making sense of complex and high quantity information to effectively spot and creatively master opportunities and problems;

  • Strong leader through influencing skills with the courage to challenge and ability to initiate and drive change with impact; ability to act as a trusted and impact generating sparring partner, visionary, coach, catalyst, architect for senior leaders and teams;

  • Lifelong learner who is humble, honest, highly self-aware: proven ability to learn fast from experience and reflection;

  • Knowledge about Group HR policies and requirements;

  • Understanding of complex business issues and strategies and of financial impacts derived from HR decisions and policies;

  • Ability to manage competing priorities while demonstrating exceptional organizational skills while driving results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • University level required, either in business administration, human resources management, business psychology, social sciences, law or a comparable subject.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $167,082 to $250,623. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
