Grantify is looking for skilled Freelance Grant Writers. As a freelancer, you’ll play a vital role in helping businesses secure government funding that powers innovation, with the flexibility to work on your schedule.

Your Mission

At Grantify, we simplify the complex landscape of U.S. government grants, supporting businesses with expertly crafted applications. As a Freelance Grant Writer, you’ll contribute directly to this mission by delivering high-quality, persuasive proposals that win funding for our clients. This freelance position offers regular projects, collaboration with a high-performing team, and the freedom to work wherever you are in the U.S.

Responsibilities

✨ Grant Writing and Development

• Create clear, persuasive, and impactful grant proposals tailored to U.S. federal funding agencies like the NIH, NSF, or DoD.
• Translate complex technical ideas into accessible narratives that resonate with reviewers.

Client Communication and Collaboration

• Work closely with clients to gather essential information and clarify proposal details.
• Collaborate with Grantify's internal team to ensure applications are comprehensive and competitive.

Quality Assurance

• Review and refine grant applications to meet high-quality standards.
• Provide constructive feedback to clients and team members, driving continuous improvement.

Research and Stay Informed

• Stay updated on government funding opportunities and agency requirements.
• Incorporate new trends and insights into your grant writing approach.
  

What We’re Looking For

You’ll excel in this role if you have:

• Proven experience in grant writing, with a strong preference for U.S. federal funding expertise (e.g., NIH, NSF, DoD).
• Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
• A passion for supporting innovation and driving real-world impact through your work.
  

Expectations and Availability

• You must be based in the U.S. with the legal right to work.
• Availability to commit at least 12 days per month (8-hour days) to Grantify projects.

Hiring Process

1. Time Writing Task: A 1-hour exercise to assess your skills.
