**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated general production workers for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. This position involves working in a fast-paced food production facility, performing a variety of tasks including stuffing olives, monitoring jars, and replenishing materials. Contractors will work two Saturdays per month. **Responsibilities** + Perform repetitive tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. + Combine duties of stuffing and line tech roles. + Move between different jobs throughout the day as needed. + Work comfortably around conveyor belts. + Work overtime and Saturdays when necessary. + Stuff olives and release operators for breaks and lunches. + Stuff jars with olives, pepperoncini, and other vegetables. + Monitor jars to ensure they do not fall over. + Use a mop or squeegee to remove liquid from the floor. + Load jars onto the production line. + Remove filled/capped jars and place them in boxes. + Replenish materials such as lids, labels, and glass to keep production going. **Essential Skills** + At least one year of experience in a food production facility. + Experience in food production, bottling (wine industry), or regular production/manufacturing. + Machine operating experience with some QA knowledge. + Attention to detail and production speed. + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally and repetitively. + Ability to stand for long periods. + Ability to reach/pull at least 25 lbs. + Ability to frequently bend and use stairs/ladders. + Comfortable working in a wet environment due to spraying. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in food production is preferred. + Experience in bottling (wine industry) and regular production/manufacturing is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Our positions are designed for potential long-term employment. The environment is regulated by GMP, requiring strict adherence to hygiene and safety protocols such as washing hands before entering the production floor, and wearing hair nets, beard nets, and blue smocks. No false nails, lashes, or jewelry are allowed. The facility has a lot of liquid on the floor from vegetable juices, and employees will work with strong-smelling ingredients like pepperoncini, jalapenos, and olives. Conditions include varying temperatures and humidity levels, and the presence of strong odors and fumes from ingredients. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of AMERICAN CANYON, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.88 - $21.88/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
