Connect Staffing, Inc. is seeking general labor workers to fill openings at a large warehouse that distributes soil and fertilizer located in Chino and Jurupa Valley, Ca.

Monday through Friday

2nd shift 3pm - 1:30am Saturdays 3pm-11:30pm Overtime Required

Requirements for general labor worker:

• Ability to pass drug screen and background
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Steel Toe Boots
• Standing, bending, lifting required to perform all tasks

Responsibilities of the general labor worker :

• Cut/Dump and restack bags of soil
• Cuts open bags of material with a utility knife, lifts and dumps product into a proper container'(tote, hopper, raw materials pile)
• Operate a shrink wrap machine
• Dispose of all recyclables and trash
• Stage empty pallets for forklift operators to relocate.Clean sweep, shovel as needed.
• Oversee all outside screener /shaker areas to the production line, use steel bar to clean screens and hakersas needed or if large items become stuck or clogged
• Continuity climbs ladder to visually inspect shakers will notify loader operators to load screeners when empty or material needed
• Cleans and sweeps infeed area, compressed air to maintain conveyor motors, uses hoses, shovels, brooms, wheel barrels to move excess material to loader area to reload screener
