Front Desk Personnel

58 Room upscale family resort looking for friendly, service oriented individual who has a passion for the hospitality industry to join our team full time or part-time. Position is seasonal with the possibility of year round. Front desk staff is the primary contact for our guests. Knowledge of the Cape restaurants, beaches and other areas of interest is key. Experience with property management systems preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Checking-in and checking-out guests
• Making, modifying, and cancelling room reservations
• Charges to guest folios/resolve billing issues
• Communicate with housekeeping personnel to ensure all guest needs are met
• Answering phones and directing calls to appropriate personnel
• Providing information about rooms, rates and amenities, assisting guests with any special requests or needs

Candidates must have exceptional communication and organizational skills. High-level proficiency with computers is also required. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays. Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred, but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
