Infinity Floral Designs is a luxury floral retail store specializing in modern, high-end arrangements for everyday occasions, events, and sympathy tributes. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Florist to join our creative team. The ideal candidate combines artistic skill with professionalism, has an eye for balance and color, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Production

• Create floral arrangements for retail orders, events, weddings, and sympathy pieces according to Infinity’s style standards.
• Maintain consistency in design quality, color harmony, and presentation.
• Execute designs based on photographs, sketches, or customer preferences.
• Assist in creating seasonal collections and new product lines.

Customer Service

• Greet walk-in clients and assist with custom orders.
• Communicate professionally with customers, providing recommendations based on budget, style, and occasion.
• Ensure all orders are accurately tagged, documented, and ready for pickup or delivery on time.

Inventory & Care

• Receive and condition fresh floral shipments.
• Monitor cooler organization and floral rotation for optimal shelf life.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the design area, cooler, and workstations.
• Track floral and supply inventory and communicate shortages.

Event Support

• Assist with setup and teardown of weddings, funerals, and special events.
• Handle delicate blooms and décor installations with care and precision.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with designers, delivery staff, and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Participate in creative meetings and contribute ideas for product innovation and marketing visuals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional floral design experience (retail or event).
• Strong understanding of floral varieties, color theory, and design mechanics.
• Ability to multitask under time-sensitive deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and artistic presentation.
• Proficient with POS systems, order forms, and basic computer tasks.
• Valid driver’s license preferred (for delivery/event setup).

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a cooler environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
