Overview of the Role:

As a Flight Coordinator, you will be a key player in orchestrating all aspects of the Part 135 helicopter Charter Division. You will report directly to the Charter Flights Director and play an integral role in executing the new business plan. Your efforts will focus on growing charter sales, optimizing fleet usage, increasing profitability, and exploring new geographic destinations. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Coordinate helicopter charter seat sales, handling quoting, booking, and scheduling efficiently.
  • Build Relationships with current and new clients, aiming for long-term loyalty and advanced bookings.
  • Tailor Itineraries for high-net-worth individuals and corporations, ensuring exceptional air travel experiences.
  • Liaise with Teams of pilots and other divisions to deliver a seamless, first-class service.
  • Ensure Service Excellence by attending to client inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Communicate Regularly with clients to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
  • Expand CRM by contributing to customer relationship management initiatives.
  • Plan and Execute backup transportation solutions when charter issues arise.
  • Support Marketing and Sales through proactive engagements and contribute to sales growth strategies.
  • Coordinate with Operations teams to ensure safe, timely operations and adhere to FAA regulations.
  • Handle Documentation including flight manifests and compliance paperwork.
  • Assist with Safety Audits and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations, ensuring compliance.
  • Conduct Administrative Tasks like weekly and monthly reporting, tracking metrics, and analyzing operations.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in charter sales/support within a Part 135 helicopter operation.
  • Proven track record in selling to and serving high-end clientele and corporations.
  • Exceptional client service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and Part 135 requirements is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Suite; knowledge of aviation software is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with luxury helicopter charter sales or hospitality for high-end clientele.
  • Certification or training in aviation safety and compliance.
