Find your future with us. **Boeing Global Services (BGS** ), **Distribution Business,** is looking for an **Experienced Quality Engineer** to join our team in **Wichita, KS.** **Position Responsibilities:** + Leads the team to become resourceful in seeking answers/guidance to complex problems. + Able to perform duties related to customer and supplier facing activities. + This includes but is not limited to customer and/or supplier travel for on-site training and reviews. + Responsible for meeting/exceeding customer quality metrics to ensure customer preferred supplier status. + Conducts Corrective Actions Board (CAB) with customers, suppliers and internal BDSI organization. + Can ensure a robust RCCA that will satisfy internal and external requirements. + Lead all on customer scorecards metrics. + Works with quality specialist to Lead all purge activities and ensure containment is within 48 hours globally. + Works with customers on RMA products and submits documents for MRB approval. + Writes quality plans, sampling plans, and inspections plans for customer products. + Reviews RCCAs for trend analysis to work process improvements. + Helps train team members as needed on various quality topics. + Assists in the writing and reviewing of technical and performance specifications, quality plans, sampling plans, and inspections procedures. + Drives PFMEA activity internally and with suppliers as needed. + Performs other duties as assigned. **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + Bachelor's Degree - Engineering or related field of study + 4 - 6 years of related work experience + Experience with execution of root cause corrective actions (RCCA) + Knowledge of AS9100/9120 Standards + Intermediate or higher proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel) + This position requires traveling up to 25% of the time. **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + Previous Aerospace experience + SAP experience **Drug Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria are met as outlined in our policies _._ **Total Rewards & Pay Transparency:** At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
