Position: Event Coordinator Location: Columbus, OH Schedule: Weekends Off Salary: $800 - $1,195 per week Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a critical role in planning and executing various events, ensuring that each occasion is a success from conception to completion. Your attention to detail and excellent organizational skills will allow you to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while your ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members will facilitate smooth operations. Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute a variety of events, including corporate gatherings, weddings, and community events.
• Collaborate with clients to define event goals, objectives, and budgets.
• Source and negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers.
• Develop comprehensive event plans, timelines, and checklists to ensure all aspects of the event are covered.
• Oversee event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and on-site management during the event.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and attendees before, during, and after events.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed events.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency in event management software and tools, including MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for events.
