Part Time- Full Time Job Overview MARBLEWORKS is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our high-performing team in Huntington Beach, CA. As an Estimator, you'll play a crucial role in translating architectural plans, field measurements, and design intent into accurate bids for custom stone projects in high-end residential homes. Your expertise in takeoffs, material requirements, and cost structuring will directly support our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities - Read and interpret architectural blueprints, CAD drawings, and field measurements
- Prepare detailed estimates for custom stone projects including countertops, vanities, flooring, and feature walls
- Perform accurate material takeoffs for tile, marble, granite, quartz, and engineered stone
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and designers to clarify project scope and specifications
- Collaborate with the fabrication and installation teams to ensure project feasibility and alignment with shop capabilities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of material costs and fabrication processes to ensure accurate pricing
- Assist with job scheduling and procurement timelines based on estimate data
- Utilize software tools to streamline quoting and tracking of estimates
- Revise estimates when change orders or project updates occur
- Provide exceptional service and guidance to clients during the estimating process
Qualifications - 3+ years of experience estimating in the construction or stone fabrication industry
- Strong knowledge of residential tile and stone applications and materials (marble, granite, quartz, engineered stone)
- Ability to read blueprints, interpret design details, and perform field measurements
- High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient with estimation software, Microsoft Excel, and/or AutoCAD
- Familiarity with fabrication and installation methods a strong plus
- Professional, reliable, and committed to customer satisfaction
