  • Client is looking for an Assembler to join our team. 
  • This person will contribute to the company's success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical/electrical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products.
  • Performs a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical/electrical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions, maintaining a focus on quality
  • Follows an engineering assembly process, but may require the ability to adjust, fit, or align parts
  • Uses hand tools such as long-nose pliers, screw drivers, soldering irons, and wrenches
  • Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels
  • Uses Microsoft Office programs
  • Maintains a neat and clean work area
  • Identifies problems and contributes to process improvements
  • Performs some hand soldering on electronic assemblies
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production state-of-the-art environment
  • Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks
  • Read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and Bills of Material

Pay: $25.00-$30.00/hr

Hours: 9/80 Shift: 7:00 AM-4:30 PM Monday thru Thursday 7:00-3:30

Length: Temp (6 months)

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of experience
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in electro-mechanical assembly

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree with 2 years of experience
  • Mechanical or electrical assembly experience to include Soldering.
  • Good hand-eye coordination for work under a microscope.
  • Able to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and Bills of Material
  • Working knowledge of electronic Theory relating to RF transmission, receivers' circuits, analog and digital circuitry.
  • The ability to troubleshoot RF/Digital circuits to the component level.
  • Understanding and able to perform calibration of RF circuity and equipment calibration procedures.
  • Test equipment, i.e., signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and RF equipment
  • Advanced ability to solve complex technical problems, analyze faulty circuits
  • Electrical background at the component level
  • Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements through the client's E3 continuous improvement process
  • J-STD-00, IPC-610

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

  • Must be able to work in a team-based environment and interact with support team members
