About the role
The Director of Security is responsible for overseeing the security in the resort, ensuring a safe environment for guests and team members by establishing and enforcing comprehensive security policies. The role includes hiring and training the security team to ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. The Director of Security is pivotal in developing the emergency procedure of the resort and conducting regular training sessions to maintain a safe environment for associates and guests. Building strong working relationships with local law enforcement and emergency agencies is essential. The Director of Security is an UNARMED position and must present a professional, approachable demeanor, providing reassurance to resort associates and customers that safety and security are top priorities every day.
