C3 AI We are seeking a strategic and analytical Director of FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis for our Product and Go-To-Market (GTM) functions. This role will be a key business partner to Product, Marketing, and Sales leadership, driving financial insights, forecasting, and decision support to accelerate growth and optimize investment.
Responsibilities - Serve as the primary finance partner to Product and GTM leadership teams.
- Provide financial guidance on product roadmap investments, pricing strategies, and market expansion initiatives.
- Support long-term planning and strategic initiatives with scenario modeling and ROI analysis.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for Product and GTM functions.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support bookings, revenue, headcount planning, and program spend.
- Monitor performance against plans and provide actionable insights to drive accountability.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly business reviews with variance analysis and key performance indicators.
- Create dashboards and reporting tools to track product profitability, customer acquisition costs, and marketing ROI.
- Analyze trends and identify risks/opportunities to improve financial outcomes.
- Enhance FP&A processes and tools to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Partner with stakeholders to automate reporting and streamline workflows.
- Drive adoption of best practices across the finance organization.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CFA, CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A at a high growth SaaS company, investment banking or corporate development
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, operating metrics and key drivers of GTM (sales, marketing, and customer success) and Product organizations
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive strategic decisions.
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools.
- Strategic thinker with a bias for action and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

California Base Pay Range
$174,000—$213,000 USD
