Job Description

Interim Healthcare Services of NEPA is looking for experienced Direct Support Professionals DSPs to care for individuals with disabilities in a residential or group home setting.

Pay up to $17 per hour
Group home locations from Carbondale, PA to Taylor, PA and occasional travel into Luzerne county
Hours 3p-11p (2nd shift) and 11p-7a (3rd shift); some day time hours on weekends
Health Insurance, Accrued PTO, Weekly Pay, Direct Deposit, Referral Bonuses, etc.

The Direct Support Professional DSP provides personal care and incidental activities of daily living as assigned to clients in the Assisted Living/Adult Day Care home setting in accordance with applicable law and regulations, and Customer’s policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities for the Direct Support Professional DSP: * Provide personal care and daily living assistance, including hygiene, dressing, meals, and mobility support * Assist individuals in developing life skills to increase independence (e.g., cooking, cleaning, money management) * Support emotional well-being and implement behavior support strategies as outlined in care plans * Monitor health and safety, respond to emergencies, and report changes in behavior or condition * Document daily activities, progress, incidents, and medication administration as required * Encourage community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings, appointments, or social activities Minimum Requirements for the Direct Support Professional DSP:

Must be 18 years of age or older
Highschool Diploma or GED
Must be CPR and First Aide certified
Must have a Driver's License in PA and reliable form of transportation
Willing to undergo pre-employment screenings
