We’re currently looking for an Intern to be a supportive force around our organization, handling anything from larger initiatives to small project work for the Product Operations Team. This is an internship position and is required to be in the office at our World Headquarters (WHQ) in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. This person will gain experience working in an office environment, performing Data Team duties, and supporting mid-level leadership. Given the dynamic nature of the technical landscape, we rely on the Intern to be flexible and consistent while maintaining the confidentiality of high-level information and operations.
The intern in this role will play a vital part in supporting the data needs of the Product Operations Team and contributing to product-related tasks at Decisions. This position offers a unique opportunity for hands-on experience across various aspects of the organization, including administration and product development. The intern will work closely with teams to gain valuable insights and actively contribute to the company's success.
This position is on-site at our WHQ in Virginia Beach, VA. Key Objectives Objective 1: Data Support - Complete day-to-day tasks within Product Operations (ex: data gathering, data entry, deck creation, etc)
- Collaborate with Product Operations staff to prioritize and streamline business continuity
Objective 2: Project Support - Work closely with the Product Operations team to contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives as assigned
- Communicate with stakeholders and complete deliverables in a timely manner
- Validate work product is high quality and accurate
- Participate in meetings to gather insights and contribute to cross-functional projects
Objective 3: Get to know Decisions - Learn about our platform and why our customers buy it
- Learn names and faces to know organization structure while forming relationships with Decisions employees
- Understand the department structure and who is on each team
- Engage with various teams within the organization to understand workflows and processes
Specialized Experience - Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program (HS or College- or recent HS graduate)
- Proficiency in the English language
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong ambition to find information and solve problems
- Basic understanding of support tasks and familiarity with product development concepts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite of tools
- Adeptness in learning and navigating new software and systems
- Exceptional note-taking ability with clear summaries and action items
- Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects
- Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information related to the company and its employees
