Job Description

Skills:

• Review PDF documents, identify, and correct errors.
• Evaluate lesson plans, student materials, and slide decks, ensuring alignment with established criteria and style guidelines.
• Review Word/Google Docs, PowerPoint/Google Slides, and PDF documents for consistency, style, and grammar errors, and correct all identified issues.
• Collaborate with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) to maintain the quality of the Investigating History curriculum for grades 5–7.

Rate: 18-19.73/hr

Skills Required

• Attention to detail – Strong ability to identify and correct errors.
• Ability to meet deadlines – Timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Clear written communication in English – Mastery of standard written English.
• Fluency with Microsoft and Google applications – Expertise in Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs/Drive.
• Prior copy-editing experience – Preferred, with at least 5 years of experience.
