Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Assistant to join our Dermatology healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential medical administrative support in a fast-paced clinical environment, particularly within the dermatology department. This role involves direct patient care, assisting with various clinical procedures, and ensuring a smooth workflow in the office. We are seeking one full time Clinical Medical Assistant to travel between two sites and one part time Clinical Medical Assistant to be stationary at the Virginia Beach location.


Duties:

  • Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
  • Assist healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures in the dermatology office.
  • Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
  • Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Maintain knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols while assisting with outpatient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure a positive patient experience.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred, particularly in dermatology or related fields.
  • Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology is essential for effective communication and patient care.
  • Experience in medication administration and vital signs monitoring is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with inpatient care processes is a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
