Job Description

Position Summary
Provide drafting support using CAD for all types of engineering drawings including fabrication, assembly and schematics.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
? Generate manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD, Solidworks, Microsoft Office documents, Adobe PDF, and other software for piece parts and assemblies
? Generate parts BOMs
? Process document changes through the ECN (Engineering Change Notice) process
? Manipulate and process file changes in a PDM environment
? Perform electronic file conversion, handling and distribution
? Other assigned duties
Required Experience
? 3+ years’ experience providing engineering drafting
? Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
? Comprehensive knowledge of bills of materials structure, engineering principles, concepts, theories and practices
? Ability to read and understand the organization and structure of technical documents, assembly prints, and parts lists
? Good analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills
? Attention to detail
? Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative team environment
? Absolute proficiency in AutoCAD, Solidworks and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat
Physical Requirements
Must be able to climb stairs, sit, keyboard, file, see, hear and read/speak English fluently
Education
Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
