Job Description

JOB SUMMARY :

• Under direction, manages the operation of the Business Office including the resident accounts, the receipt, disbursal and accounting for monies, the maintenance of data banks, the payment of bills and the billing and collection of monies due to the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Supervises the automated accounting system for controlling patient bank accounts.
• Maintains an accounting system of resident status and services provided for purposes of billing third party payers.
• Supervises the maintenance of automated and manual ledgers, journals and other financial records.
• Supervises the tracking, receipt and payment of accounts payable. 

OTHER JOB DUTIES:

• Attends required in-service training.
• Does related work as required.

BASIC COMPETENCIES EDUCATION:

• Graduation from High School or vocational school.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to perform this job.

 EXPERIENCE:

• Five years of responsible high-level clerical experience involving accounts receivables and payable, one year of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity.

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

$20.80 per hour
