Job title: Business Intelligence Analyst IV 

Duration: 5 months

Location: Remote

• Client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support the Distribution M&A team.
• The role is responsible for analyzing complex datasets, supporting key operational processes, and collaborating closely with different cross-functional teams.
• The ideal candidate can manage multiple projects simultaneously, investigate and resolve issues independently, and play a critical role in supporting the account matching and mapping process.
• Candidate’s work will drive informed, data-driven decision-making and help optimize processes across the organization.

• Support the account matching and mapping process ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key metrics and support business decision-making.
• Analyze complex datasets from various sources (including Salesforce, Tableau, and Snowflake) to identify trends and anomalies
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support
• Present findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and concisely to stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4 plus years of experience as a business analyst, with a strong focus on analytics

• Strong data analysis in Google Sheet/Excel
• Writing and executing SQL queries for data extraction
• Salesforce (CRM) - Account, Opportunity, Reports and related fields
• General Business Processes (Sales, Marketing, Service, Support)
• Fundamental IT concepts (databases, security, networking) and basic programming concepts

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
