Job Overview:

As a Business Central Support Consultant, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients experiencing issues or requiring assistance with their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central system. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues, as well as offering guidance on best practices to enhance the system's performance. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Business Central, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both technical teams and end users.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Support & Troubleshooting:

* Provide day-to-day support for clients using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
* Respond to and resolve support tickets related to system functionality, bugs, performance, and user queries.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot software issues, recommending and implementing appropriate solutions.
* Perform root cause analysis of recurring issues and work on solutions to prevent future problems.

System Maintenance & Optimization:

* Assist clients with system updates, patches, and version upgrades.
* Help clients optimize Business Central configurations to meet business requirements and improve workflows.
* Ensure clients are utilizing the full capabilities of Business Central to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

User Training & Documentation:

* Provide training sessions and guidance for end users to enhance their understanding and proficiency with Business Central.
* Develop and maintain user manuals, training guides, and documentation related to system configuration, process flows, and troubleshooting steps.

Customization and Configuration:

* Assist in basic configuration of Business Central based on client requirements (e.g., financial modules, supply chain management, inventory, sales and purchasing processes).
* Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and recommend appropriate system enhancements or customizations.

Collaboration & Reporting:

* Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and technical teams to resolve complex client issues and deliver effective solutions.
* Document support tickets, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps within the company's internal systems.
* Provide status updates to management and clients on ongoing issues, escalations, and resolutions.

Continuous Learning & Improvement:

* Stay up-to-date with the latest Business Central features, updates, and best practices.
* Actively contribute to improving internal support processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

*

Experience:

* Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in a support or functional consultant role.
* Experience in troubleshooting, configuration, and support of ERP systems, preferably in a Business Central environment.
* Exposure to Business Central modules like Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Inventory Management is highly desirable.
