The Batter Operator’s responsibilities include manufacturing of batter products, collection of samples, and inspection of products to ensure quality specifications are being met. The Batter Operator must have computer skills and experience, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high stress environment where multi-tasking is required.
Accountabilities:
• Successful candidates will have a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
• Prior experience as an Operator in a potato processing facility is a plus.
Qualifications:
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must have ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Must have demonstrated computer skills and experience with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is required.
• Requires obtaining and maintaining a factory issued forklift operator’s license.
• Obtain certification through the Operator Training Program.
Skills:
• Must have computer skills for data entry and electronic tracking requirements.
