Job Description

PJ's Coffee in Frisco, TX is looking for PART-TIME baristas to join our team. We are located on 7967 S Custer Road, Suite 100. Our ideal candidate is exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and reliable. Store hours: Mon-Fri 6:30am-6pm, Sat-Sun: 7am-6pm

Must be available on Sundays.

Must be at least 16 years of age

Responsibilities:

• Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Address customer requests quickly and in a positive manner
• Memorize entire menu and ingredients and prepare all orders according to PJ's standards
• Assist in the restocking and replenishment of inventory and supplies
• Check in deliveries
• Accept guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change
• Show up on time ready to work as scheduled
• Keep an updated Food Handlers certification
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
• Strong attention to detail

Required Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of prior coffee or food experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of coffee and brewing (preferred)
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Must have basic cash handling skills and, ability to perform basic mental math

Physical requirements:

• Ability to occasionally bend, squat, and kneel
• Ability to lift, push, and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional use of ladders
• Standing and walking up to 8 hours
