• Recruit and manage team members within the auto parts department
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure quick access for employees based on projected demand and cost targets
• Track records for auto parts warranties
• Record and track the movement and sales of auto parts within the dealership’s inventory control system
• Negotiate and communicate effectively to secure the best prices for automotive parts, ensuring a return on investment when used in sales and vehicle repairs
• Source and buy parts for inventory cars
• Track cores
• Track returns

Qualifications:

• Excellent product knowledge, customer service skills, administrative skills, and organizational skills are necessary to manage inventory effectively
• 1-2 years of related experience in auto sales needed
• Experience managing a staff is desired
• Mandatory high school diploma or GED equivalent

About Company: Who is Grote Automotive? Fred Grote has been in the car business for over 25 years. He opened his 1st store in Fort Wayne, IN in 2008. Growing from 25 cars a month to 200 he opened a 2nd store in Warsaw, IN. After Great success there his 3rd store came to Rockford, IL. The 4th and 5th stores have just arrived in IN in 2022 as well. We plan to open 1 more in 2024. We opened here in Rockford in December 2020 and have been growing FAST. We specialize in solving transportation problems that most dealerships can't.
