As a Site Coordinator with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to lead after-school programs, mentor a small team, and shape the futures of the children in our community!  

What You’ll Do: 

• Create Unforgettable Experiences: Plan and lead educational, recreational, and arts-based activities that foster learning and personal growth. Engage youth members in activities and field trips that inspire them to explore new skills while ensuring a safe, supportive atmosphere where children feel secure and excited to participate.

• Foster Growth: Guide children, youth, and volunteers in a structured environment that promotes both academic and personal development. Encourage a sense of belonging while ensuring that all activities meet the requirements of Boys & Girls Club of America programs, state regulations, and agency policies.

• Lead & Inspire: Supervise staff to promote teamwork, respect, and positive social interactions among students. Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment, enforce rules and regulations, and maintain discipline. Lead by example, offering support, guidance, and coach staff, while overseeing and facilitating activities that nurture growth and development in a collaborative, engaging way.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education & Experience: Preferred qualifications include previous experience and/or education, or training in early childhood development, elementary education, and behaviors. Experience in providing direction and supervision to staff is also preferred. CPR certification is required; however, we provide this training in-house if you are not currently certified.

• Skills & Abilities: Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and as part of a team. Must demonstrate strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities to effectively manage situations that arise in the program.

• Screening Process: Job offers are contingent upon a post-offer screening, which includes, but is not limited to, background checks, child abuse and neglect screening, and drug test.
