Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist Location Hybrid remote in Lee's Summit, MO :

Medical AR Specialist

Since 1989, Rockhill Women's Care has been dedicated to providing quality care to our patients. We are a full-service OB/GYN practice in Kansas City with offices in Overland Park and in Lee's Summit.

We are an all-female physician-owned OB/GYN practice with 10 providers on staff. Being physician owned, we have a commitment to prioritizing the needs of our team and our patients.

We are seeking a full-time Medical AR Specialist to join our team!

In this position, you would have the opportunity to work a HYBRID schedule. The Medical AR specialist would work 4 days/week, with the option of working from home 2 days/week. The remaining days must be on location at our office.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing payment from both patients and insurance
• Following up on denied and appealed claims
• Submitting corrected claims
• Working with insurances to resolve outstanding claims
• Answering incoming patient phone calls
• Assisting patients and insurance companies via phone

Starting wage range: $19 - $21/hour with quarterly bonus opportunities!

Education, Skills & Experience:

• 1-2 years Medical Billing Experience Required
• eClinical Works (EMR) Experience Preferred
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills Required
• Strong Organizational Skills Required
• Strong Problem-Solving Skills Required
• High Attention to Detail Required
• Ability to Multi-Task and Prioritize Required
