Family-owned Morgan Murphy Media is seeking an Accountant for an exciting opportunity to join our team of accounting professionals. Our impressive portfolio of media entities includes WA-based Television and Radio Stations, and Local News Websites. This position will perform financial close and accounting functions as assigned. If you have a degree and work experience in Accounting and you possess exceptional multi-tasking and customer service abilities, then we'd like you to become part of our team!
Primary Job Duties
· Own all general ledger tasks, including preparation of account reconciliations and related journal entries
· Support Business Manager in implementing efficiency opportunities within the organization
· Function as a backup for the Accounts Receivable process
· Assist with annual audit and various other reporting projects
· Other Accounting duties as assigned
Skills/Experience
· Minimum 2-year accounting degree
· 2-years accounting experience
· Microsoft Office expertise, including Excel and Word
· Desire to learn new software such as MMM business systems
· Strong attention to detail, proven ability to multi-task, and effective communication skills
· Analytical thinker who can problem-solve proactively
· Maintain confidentiality and rapport with managers and the financial team

Pay range: $23.00/hour - $25.00/hour
