We are seeking a highly motivated professional Local Account Managers to develop business with new clients in the Kansas City market and surrounding territories. Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate strategically delivered client-focused commercial roofing solutions based on customer needs.

Remote position that must have a current residency and established in the greater Kansas City, MO area to service designated territory and clients.

Functions: Responsible for the management of sales and developing customer share relationships with new and existing national customers.

• Develop and secure new client relationships within the assigned territory
• Craft and present customized sales proposals and presentations
• Drive new business by managing the entire sales process, from requirements gathering to contract negotiation and integration with operations.
• Collaborate closely with Management and Sales across multiple locations
• Serve as a key liaison between customers and internal departments, ensuring seamless execution of solutions based on client expectations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for your clients.
• Contribute to team success by working cohesively with fellow team members.
• Ensure our roofing solutions are delivered on time and meet the clients specific needs and goals.
• Partner with internal teams to identify new opportunities and drive growth
• Stay up to date with the industry trends, products, services, and policies, while assessing competitive landscapes and performance outcomes.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
• Proven sales results
• Commercial Roofing Sales experience and knowledge of systems and products
• Account Management experience is preferred
• Navigate software programs and accurately enter data in CRM
• Proficient in MS office XL typing and computer navigation skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively internally and externally
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions to customers
• Excellent listening and negotiation skills
• Superior verbal and written communications skills
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge
• Stable work history

This role requires frequent standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. In addition, Commercial Account Managers:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
• Must be able to walk long distances
• Must be able to work in hot, cold, humid and/or rainy weather conditions
