Job Description

A 2nd Shift Production Supervisor  is responsible for the overall operation of safely producing cabinet components on time, complete, to quality standards, to material usage standards, and to productivity standards by maximizing the personnel, material, equipment, and information resources available, and supervision of staff. This position will directly report to the Production Manager.

This specific role as a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor will manage the Cartoning, Shipping, and Assembly departments on 2nd shift. 

This is a Salaried Position Starting at $70,000 annually and requires at least 10 hour shifts Monday-Friday 4:00pm-2:30am

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensures safety procedures are followed in department.
2. Monitors quality and material usage within the department.
3. Administers the production flow of cabinet components.
4. Monitors schedule and productivity reporting on a continuous basis and directs department Lead people to make adjustments to meet the schedule and productivity goals.
5. Determines productivity goals for department through maintaining labor expenditures.
6. Notifies Inventory Control Manager of low quantities of component parts and accessories.
7. Researches and develops new techniques for procedure improvements.
8. Researches and recommends new equipment purchases.
9. Advises and consults with R&D about incorrect shop floor prints.
10. Communicates professionally and effectively with all employees and Managers to ensure a consistent flow of product throughout the facility.
